InnovatED will design and deliver EITM Doctoral School annual Innovation program that will cultivate innovation skills among participants. The program integrates seamlessly with an existing Entrepreneurship course, provided by EITM. Aligned with EIT Manufacturing’s flagships, the program focuses on pivotal aspects of European Manufacturing transformation. Participants engage in creating socially sustainable manufacturing, emphasizing human-machine co-working. The curriculum also addresses flexible production systems, preparing students to navigate the complexities of a VUCA world. Digital collaborative solutions form a core component, encouraging students to innovate throughout the manufacturing ecosystem. Consortium partners will collaborate to ensure program delivery. On-site activities span three schools held in Bratislava, Slovakia; Mondragon, Spain; and Porto, Portugal. These locations are strategically chosen to provide diverse perspectives and to allow participants to engage in the local ecosystem of research, technologies, start-ups, etc. A series of short innovation online courses supplement on-site activities throughout the year. Industry partners ISCLEANAIR and LEAD Innovation contribute to real-world challenges, enhancing practical learning. Mentorship from industry partners ensures continuity between on-site events, allowing challenges to evolve from Summer School to Winter School.
